Puoi vedere l'attento ricamo dorato sul Saint’s accappatoio , e la croce che pende dal suo collo sembra fatta di oro puro . Questo dipinto è un bellissimo esempio di Murillo’s capacità di ritrarre un realistico , ma lusinghiero immagine del clero , che è uno dei motivi per cui è stato così ricercato come artista su commissione .
